ANASAZI   COLLECTION   INVENTORY

All artifacts in this collection are Anasazi, the Cliff Dwellers like Mesa Verde and Pueblo Indians like Chaco Canyon, culture pieces.  All were collected from private land with the landowner’s permission.  Detailed information, when available, will be provided to the buyer.  Many of the items in this collection are extremely rare one of a kind items.  This is due to the fact that little perishable material survives nature, usually in rock shelters and there are a limited number of these rock shelters to be found on private land.  The culture periods identified are: Basketmaker-II or BM-II, 1000 B.C. - A.D. 500; Basketmaker-III or BM-III, A.D. 500 - 750; Pueblo-I or P-I, A.D. 750 - 900; Pueblo-II or P-II, A.D. 900 - 1150; Pueblo-III or P-III, A.D. 1150 - 1350. When known the culture period is provided.
