  C - A short (for type) bi-pointed polished bone Hair Pin (most likely for an

  D - A very highly polished bone Awl having "smoothed over" ancient usage  
  wear marks, but "all there" - 40.00  
  E - A nicely polished bone Awl having the natural bone internal patterns on

MHBT1572 An EXTREMELY LARGE Whale Tooth which was most   Recovered from 120.00
  likely fashioned for use as a pressure flaking tool. It has slight an ancient site in  
  usage wear marks to the tip and a fairly ragged base where it Humboldt Bay, CA  
  was most likely mounted into a wooden handle. There is    
  ancient loss of some surface layers along a single edge,    
  shown in photo 4. Quite an interesting and very scarce item. Ex: Michael Hough

  a bit on the ragged side with a long vertical crack down an ancient site in  
  it's center from aging. This one was shellacked over for Humboldt Bay, CA  
  preservation by it's finder and is quite a unique find. Ex: Michael Hough

  usage wear at both ends, but essentially "all there" as it was an ancient site in  
  anciently used. A fairly scarce item which has a thin layer of Humboldt Bay, CA  
  shellack to act as a preservative, applied by the finder Ex: Michael Hough

VAPN3 A very unusual, seldom seen for sale polished bone Net Gauge Provenance for this piece is unfortunately 350.00
  having a triple-drilled handle. I examined the "open hole" undocumented but judging from the material, I  
  microscopically and can't really tell if the third (bottom) hole was would bet my bottom dollar that it's from the  
  left "open" intentionally, by design, or if this was anciently nicked. Pacific Northwest, most likely Alaska. It has an  
  I'm betting on it being anciently nicked, although the rest of this  interesting little story about how it (re-) arrived  
  old tool is completely intact and in pristine condition. in the United States from a European collector dlpn

  This set includes a very nice "trigger" Pressure flaking    
  tool (which is a very choice piece), a bone awl and a    
  slightly damaged double-holed bone bead.

DABT710 A nice large and sturdy drilled antler Digging Found on the 175.00
  Stick handle in excellent condition, although a Columbia River  
  former owner applied a mixture of Acetone and in Oregon  
  Duco Cement to preserve it's structural integrity,    
  a practice which even archaeologists use with    
  most bone and shell artifacts. This is a very    
  scarce item, seldom offered for sale anywhere.

  Whalebone wedge. It's a tad bit ragged on the ends Coast in N. Oregon  
  from the battering it sustained while doing it's job in    
  ancient times, which is typical. It was treated with a     
  mixture of Acetone and Duco Cement to preserve it's    
  structural integrity, a practice which even    
  archaeologists use with most bone and shell artifacts.
